History
The Institute was established in 2004 as named the Institute of Economics and Management, and renamed the Institute of Business and Management in August, 2008.
The Institute of Business Management and Department of Finance were merged and renamed "Department of Finance (財務金融學系)" in 2024. The Department provides two master programs including "Finance Program" and "Business and Managment Program." For the course modules of the two master programs, please go to the official website of Department of Finance. Both master programs are mainly Chinese-instructed.
本研究所創立於2004年,並於2008年更名為經營管理研究所。
自2024年(113學年度)起,經營管理研究所 與 金融管理學系 整併更名為「財務金融學系」,該系碩士班設有「財務金融組」、「經營管理組」。欲了解財務金融學系二個碩士班課程內容,請至該系官網查詢了解, 所提供課程內容主要以中文進行授課。

Development Characteristics
The main objective of the Program is to nurture highly skilled professionals required by domestic and international enterprise. At the same time we actively develop multidisciplinary research, integrate students with multi-dimensional training in economics, finance and management, and cultivate them with strong business management skills which will actually cater to the requirements of rapidly changing economic environments faced by the domestic and multinational companies.
Goals
The program putting great emphasis on both practical training and research provides training in business for students interested in creative thinking and understanding the working nature of business in a global environment. The aims and objectives of the program are to cultivate students with professional managerial knowledge as well as applicable techniques, such as numerous quantitative analytical skills to solve real-life problems.

Student who graduate from the program can participate in related national public examinations, or enter into national and foreign banks, insurance companies, securities investment companies, trading companies, manufacturing companies or domestic sector of production, technology, marketing, finance, accounting, planning, human resource, investment and similar management work.

Future Outlook 未來展望
In line with the national development and international economic integration trend, our teachings focus on academic and practical trainings, and for the overall economic development of the entire region, to develop international outlook, to train financial and managerial professionals required by domestic and international industries. The institute aims at nurturing students to be active, with creative thinking ability, to be concerned about and analyze the practical problems related with international society, economy, finance, industry, and politics. In line with the global enterprise trend, the institute aims to nurture management professionals in the fields of international business management, global marketing, global financial management, international trade, international finance, international investment and nurture research personnel for international business strategy management and strategic management.
