｜About Eligibility 申請身份資格｜

 

1.外籍生：請先確定您的身分符合外國學生申請資格，申請資格須符合教育部《外國學生來臺就學辦法》規定，申請前請詳閱其規定。

Foreign student: Please make sure that you are eligible to apply as an international student. Our qualification abides by the “MOE Regulations Regarding International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan.”

 

2.僑生：海外出生連續居留迄今，或最近連續居留海外6年以上，並取得僑居地永久或長期居留證件之華裔學生。請先確定您的身分符合僑生申請資格，申請資格須符合教育部《僑生回國就學及輔導辦法》規定，如有身份認定之疑問請逕洽詢僑委會確認了解。

Overseas Chinese student: Please make sure that you are eligible to apply as an overseas Chinese student. Our qualification abides by “MOE Regulations Regarding Study and Counseling Assistance for Overseas Compatriot Students in Taiwan”. For any enquiries about your eligibility, please contact OCAC directly.

 

3.港澳生：符合香港澳門關係條例第四條規定之香港或澳門（以下簡稱港澳）居民，取得港澳永久居留資格證件，且最近連續居留境外六年以上，申請資格須符合《香港澳門居民來臺就學辦法》。

Hong Kong and Macau Students: Refers to students 1) who have permanent residency of Hong Kong or Macau; and 2) who have been living overseas for at least six consecutive years in the immediate past; and 3) who, according to Article 4 of Laws and Regulations Regarding Hong Kong & Macao Affairs, do not have any other foreign passports.

 

4.港澳具外國國籍之華裔學生：「具外國國籍，同時兼具香港或澳門永久居留資格，未曾在臺設有戶籍，且最近連續居留香港、澳門或海外六年以上之華裔學生」，得依「僑生回國就學及輔導辦法」第23條之1申請入學。

Hong Kong and Macau Chinese Students with Foreign Nationality: Refers to overseas Chinese students with foreign nationalities, possessing permanent residency of Hong Kong or Macau and have been living there for at least six consecutive years in the immediate past—without a household registration in Taiwan; before related laws are amended and enacted, the counseling assistance for the aforementioned students is conducted according to the “Regulations Regarding Study and Counseling Assistance for Overseas Chinese Students in Taiwan” when they apply for university admission.

 

*所稱海外，指大陸地區、香港及澳門以外之國家或地區。所稱境外，指臺灣地區以外之國家或地區。

*請注意：僑生身分認定，由僑務主管機關為之；港澳生身分認定，由教育部為之。僑生及港澳生回國就學期間，除其他法令另有規定外，不得任意變更身分。若同時符合外國學生及僑生身分資格者，請擇一身分入學，一旦提出申請後不得變更身分。以上，如違反相關辦法資格規定，經查證屬實者，撤銷其入學資格、開除學籍或撤銷其本校畢業資格，且不發給任何學歷證明。

*NOTE: For those who are eligible to apply as both international students and overseas Chinese students, please choose only one identity to apply. Once the application is submitted, no changes of identity will be allowed. Must read the above-mentioned regulations about your eligibility carefully before you apply. Violations of any of the one of them will result in immediate cancellation of the applicant’s admission, or the deprivation of the applicant’s recognized status as a NUK registered student, or revocation of the applicant’s NUK diplomas.

 

｜About Language Requirement 語言能力規定｜

依身份別及入學方案規定不同 Depends on the eligibility and admission program

 

-外國學生入學申請Foreign Student Admission

Chinese : To apply for a non-fully English-instructed degree program, the applicant is required to submit a language proficiency certificate at TOCFL A2 (or the equivalent level such as HSK Level 4) or above. (Medium of Instruction, see P.4-6 of the prospectus for International Students)

*To apply for a program with sufficient English-instructed courses to meet graduation requirements, the English language proficiency shall meet the requirement of the department, but the Chinese language proficiency certificate is not required. (e.g. Master program of Dept. of Western Language and Literature)

English : The English language certificate is required or listed as a supporting document by certain departments. (See P.4-6 of the prospectus for International Students). Dept. of Western Languages and Literature (Bachelor/Master) requires the applicant to submit the certificate TOEFL (iBT) 79 / IELTS 6.5.

華語能力：申請非全英文授課系所(授課語言，見外國學生招生簡章P.4-6)，須繳交TOCFL A2(或HSK4級)含以上中文檢定證書；除申請西洋語文學系碩士班可免繳交，所有科系皆需繳交。

英文能力：部份系所另要求英文檢定證書(見外國學生招生簡章P.4-6)，除西洋語文學系(學士班、碩士班)要求英檢證書TOEFL (iBT) 79 / IELTS 6.5，另有部份系所列為有利審查文件，亦可一併上傳繳交。 

*申請有足夠英文授課課程可滿足畢業需求的系所(如西洋語文學系之碩士班)，英文能力證明為必繳文件。

 

-1+4國際專修部(含外國學生、僑生) 入學申請 International Foundation Program(Foreigner/Chinese Foreigner) Admission

No Chinese language foundation required, but the applicant can provide relevant language certificates as good credits. E.g. English and/or Chinese Proficiency Test Certificate. (Check p.3 of the prospectus for 1+4 International Foundation Program)

免中文基礎，但已有中英文語言證書者可提供，例如：英文或華語能力証書(請見國際專修部招生簡章P.3)

*限學士班(8) 8 bachelor programs：運健休Kinesiology, Health and Leisure Studies/建築Architecture(1+5)/資管Information Management/生科Life Science/應物Applied Physics/電機Electrical Engineering/化材Chemical and Materials Engineering/土環Civil and Environmental Engineering 

*修業年限：1年華語先修+4年大學系所課程 (Study Period: 1 year Chinese Learning + 4 years Bachelor Program)

 

-僑生入學申請Overseas Chinese students Admission

Must be eligible to apply as an overseas Chinese student. Tuition fees standard is the same as the charge for Taiwanese local students.

須具備華裔或港澳人士身份，身份資格將送僑委會及海聯會認定。學費比照台灣本地生。

Chinese: The Chinese language certificate is listed as a supporting document. If you are not from Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia or other region that one of the official language is Chinese, or the medium of instruction in high school is not Chinese, then the Chinese language certificate is advised to submit, especially applying for Asia Pacific Business and Industrial Management.

English:

華語能力證明：華語檢定為有利審查文件(選繳)，來自港澳或馬來西亞等其他以中文為官方語言之國家或地區、或僑外生母語為華語或前一教育階段係以華語為學習語言之申請人除外，申請亞太工商管理學系建議繳交此項文件。(請見僑生單招簡章P.2, 7)

英文能力：依系所規定。如：申請西洋語文學系，為該學系指定之選繳文件。

 

｜About Financial Statement 財力證明規定｜

適用：外國學生入學申請Foreign Student Admission/ 1+4國際專修部入學申請 International Foundation Program Admission

*帳戶餘額3,300美元或台幣10萬元以上

Balance is over US$3,300 or NT$100,000

*帳戶名稱應為申請人本人，如提供親屬帳戶，須另附財力保證人切結書(由該名親屬敘明親屬關係及保證支付其在台留學期間費用並簽名)。如為政府或相關公認機構的獎學金生，可改提供符合上述金額規定之官方證明。

*If the account name stated in the bank statement is not the applicant, but the relative of the applicant, then a “Financial Affidavit for International Stuent Applications” signed by the relative/sponsor clarifying the relationship between them and making an assurance to financially support the applicant’s study in Taiwan. An official scholarship certificate with required amount issued by the government or a certified institution can be provided as a financial statement.
